Levelflex FMP53 – Guided Radar for Interface Measurement
The Endress+Hauser Levelflex FMP53 is a guided wave radar (GWR) level transmitter capable of simultaneously measuring both the total liquid level and the liquid-liquid interface. This makes it invaluable for oil-water separation, solvent extraction, and other two-phase liquid processes.
Key Features
- Simultaneous level and interface measurement
- Measuring range: Up to 45 m
- Accuracy: ±5 mm
- Process temperature: –60 to +400°C
- Process pressure: –1 to 400 bar
- Probe types: Single rod, twin rod, coax, rope
- Communication: 4–20 mA HART, PROFIBUS PA, Foundation Fieldbus
Applications
- Oil-water separation vessels
- Solvent extraction columns
- Chemical reactor level and interface
- Crude oil desalters
