Levelflex FMP51 – Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter
The Endress+Hauser Levelflex FMP51 uses guided wave radar technology to deliver accurate level and interface measurement in liquids. The microwave signal travels along a probe, making it immune to foam, vapor and turbulence.
Key Features
- Measuring principle: Guided wave radar (TDR)
- Measuring range: up to 6 m
- Accuracy: ±2 mm
- Simultaneous level and interface measurement
- Process temperature: −50 to +200 °C
- Process pressure: −1 to +100 bar
- Probe types: single rod, twin rod, coaxial, rope
- Output: 4–20 mA HART, PROFIBUS PA, Foundation Fieldbus
- Immune to foam, vapor, condensation
- Explosion protection: ATEX, IECEx, FM, CSA
Applications
Process vessels, storage tanks, separators, bypass chambers, stilling wells. Suitable for liquids, slurries, interface measurement (oil/water).
