Deltapilot FMB50 | Hydrostatic Level Transmitter

The Deltapilot FMB50 is a hydrostatic level transmitter for continuous level measurement in open and closed tanks, using the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid column for accurate level determination.

Deltapilot FMB50 – Hydrostatic Level Transmitter

The Endress+Hauser Deltapilot FMB50 measures liquid level by detecting the hydrostatic pressure at the bottom of a tank. Its submersible or flange-mounted design makes it suitable for a wide range of tank configurations.

Key Features

  • Measuring principle: Hydrostatic pressure
  • Measuring range: 0 to 40 m H₂O (0 to 4 bar)
  • Accuracy: ±0.1% of span
  • Process temperature: −40 to +100 °C
  • Sensor: Ceramic or metallic
  • Process connections: G½”, flanges, submersible
  • Output: 4–20 mA HART
  • Suitable for: water, chemicals, food products
  • Protection: IP68 (submersible version)
  • Explosion protection: ATEX, IECEx

Applications

Water storage tanks, chemical tanks, food storage, wastewater sumps, open channels, rivers and reservoirs.
