Gammapilot FMG60 – Radiometric Level Transmitter
The Endress+Hauser Gammapilot FMG60 uses gamma radiation to measure level, density or interface without any contact with the process medium. It is the solution of last resort for extreme conditions including very high temperatures, pressures and corrosive or abrasive media.
Key Features
- Measuring principle: Gamma radiation (non-contact)
- Measurement types: level, density, interface, mass flow
- Measuring range: up to 6 m (level)
- No process penetration required
- Suitable for any process temperature and pressure
- Suitable for any media (corrosive, abrasive, toxic)
- Output: 4–20 mA HART, PROFIBUS PA
- Detector: Scintillation or Geiger-Müller
- SIL 2/3 capable
- Explosion protection: ATEX, IECEx, FM, CSA
Applications
Extreme process conditions, high-pressure reactors, very high temperatures, corrosive media, abrasive slurries, toxic materials, blocked or fouled vessels.
